OH MY GOD.. I'm going to have a heart attack

There's been at least one time over the last few weeks that I looked at myself and predicted a potential tragedy. Around the same time I wished I had a heart attack, doing something mundane. I'm currently in a financial hole and hoping I'll be able to get out of it soon which is stressing me out, severely.

The first set back is with a new writing gig I have. The gig was first posted on Craig's List:

Casual Music Bloggers Wanted

compensation: $10 - $50 per post
employment type: contract
(Please read ad fully to ensure that you qualify. Thank you!)

Music promotion/PR company working with both local and international artists looking for casual quality freelance writers to write music features/reviews or blog posts. We are only looking ONLY for writers who already contribute to a quality small, medium or high traffic publication or blog, or can pitch features to one. Genres vary and all are high quality. Reviews are paid $10-$50 EACH depending on blog/publication audience. This is contract work meaning you could be sent anywhere from 1 - 10 artists per month. It's self-directed, meaning the more dependable you are and the more you stick to the 2 week deadline, the more music we send you and the more we prioritize you as a writer. Simple as that.

Reviews also should be your own opinion. They do not need to be positive. This must be an honest process.

Applicants must be prompt, professional and willing to establish a positive working relationship. Reviews should be completed within 2 weeks of receiving the music. Anyone who takes longer than the specified time (without communicating with us) will be removed from our writer's list.

Writers will NOT post reviews on our website, but must have their own platform.
Please get in touch with any prior experience, current places you write for, etc and we'll get back to you asap. Thank you!

Not a bad deal. As a matter of fact it's perfect for me. I started working with the guy, posted the first review and received payment within the first 24 hours.

It wasn't exactly the amount in the end because I was already in the negative for my PayPal account but it showed that the guy followed through.

We've kept talking over email about other promotional ideas I have for his clients and posted two other reviews but it's already been days since I've received additional payment for those posts and I'm starting to get nervous.

The second problem is with the bands I'm booking. One of the shows I have promises to be a great one.  was in the works for months already, one local band and another one from out of town. => (Bubblews)

Morning Dawns Faster

MorningDawnsFaster Here's a good example of me doing what I've always visualized doing, completing a post from beginning to end and then go straight to marketing it. I know I probably shouldn't let you into this little secret or whatever, but I need to be honest with people which is what I cover in this post. And since this blog is about writing/working from home stuff, it's appropriate for me to say that I couldn't sleep without following through with a plan. So here it is people! My first motivational writing post of the day! (Bubblews)

My Hubpages' 7 Deadly Sins

HubPages7DeadlySins I write a lot (and almost nothing but) about my failings in the work from home business. You learn a lot of new things from this kind of industry but only when you're in the middle of it. A friend of mine has some experience in this and makes a very thorough list of what not to do when writing online, as it compares with the seven deadly sins. (HubPages)
