Yes, the routine here is the same. I'm tired right now but I'm back on the computer for another glorious day of internet I thought I would be without a week ago.
You know, with all of this news about the pontiff's visit to the U.S. everywhere, as if it were the greatest thing ever, separates me from the rest of society in that I know it isn't that big a deal.
He's just a guy in a robe.
There are no miracles in anything and yet I have to acknowledge that I'm about as close to a miracle as I can get where I still have a internet connection to look for more writing gigs, or something that will pay me quick.
It's been an entire week of this so far, the same old thing.
Last night, I stayed up to switch gears and started looking for theater auditions to local productions. I did my part in hitting up everyone of them and have already started getting some responses so I will need to get ready for those.
It still means me spending money to travel across town for at least five dollars a day and what I've already scheduled with regard to our radio show, I might end up dropping it if I need to. Again, money is the focus.
I'll talk about how even though money is the focus, why I'm not getting the fast food gig I was aiming for but as I write this, I get an email about a playwriting workshop I want to join where I asked them what the requirements were for me to be considered.
The response is that the requirements are pretty heavy and I only have one week to get on it. And on top of this, I have a fifty page story I need to finish editing before illustrating it to submit it to the client.
I still haven't received a callback from the places of employment I applied to about a week ago which tells me they aren't taking me very seriously as in I don't think I fit their requirements.
A few things that are looking up is that I did get a response from someone today via Fiverr to do some illustration work but again, money talks and no one is saying anything yet.
I've been fighting for a work from home lifestyle since 2012 and document my daily battle with becoming a solopreneur. I'm not rich but I'm far more aggressive with what I want to do and frankly, very busy doing it and thus have some sort of stability. My business is writing, creating and expressing myself and so I write about those fights here.

OH MY GOD.. I'm going to have a heart attack
There's been at least one time over the last few weeks that I looked at myself and predicted a potential tragedy. Around the same time I wished I had a heart attack, doing something mundane. I'm currently in a financial hole and hoping I'll be able to get out of it soon which is stressing me out, severely.
The first set back is with a new writing gig I have. The gig was first posted on Craig's List:
Casual Music Bloggers Wanted
compensation: $10 - $50 per post
employment type: contract
employment type: contract
Music promotion/PR company working with both local and international artists looking for casual quality freelance writers to write music features/reviews or blog posts. We are only looking ONLY for writers who already contribute to a quality small, medium or high traffic publication or blog, or can pitch features to one. Genres vary and all are high quality. Reviews are paid $10-$50 EACH depending on blog/publication audience. This is contract work meaning you could be sent anywhere from 1 - 10 artists per month. It's self-directed, meaning the more dependable you are and the more you stick to the 2 week deadline, the more music we send you and the more we prioritize you as a writer. Simple as that.
Reviews also should be your own opinion. They do not need to be positive. This must be an honest process.
Applicants must be prompt, professional and willing to establish a positive working relationship. Reviews should be completed within 2 weeks of receiving the music. Anyone who takes longer than the specified time (without communicating with us) will be removed from our writer's list.
Writers will NOT post reviews on our website, but must have their own platform.
Not a bad deal. As a matter of fact it's perfect for me. I started working with the guy, posted the first review and received payment within the first 24 hours.
It wasn't exactly the amount in the end because I was already in the negative for my PayPal account but it showed that the guy followed through.
We've kept talking over email about other promotional ideas I have for his clients and posted two other reviews but it's already been days since I've received additional payment for those posts and I'm starting to get nervous.
The second problem is with the bands I'm booking. One of the shows I have promises to be a great one. was in the works for months already, one local band and another one from out of town. => (Bubblews)

Current Limits To Posting
Cause I'm A Visual Guy
A few weeks ago or something like that, the revenue-sharing social writing network I use called Bubblews made some more improvements to their platform. While they're still tweaking and improving, I get frustrated with some of the limits there are to posting where I get the sense I should limit my posting to a certain type of posts which are more fitting to the look. I've said it before, maybe fiction stories or some shit like that but I don't know, and it has a lot to do with the images on there too. I've said it before, I don't like using stock images from their PixaBay shelf because others do the same. I'm a strong believer that without the visual, no one's gonna give a shit. Anyway, here's where I talk about that. I'm seriously thinking about salvaging what I can through that or moving to another content creation platform. (Bubblews)I'm Now On Facebook & Future Plans
